Welcome to Prik Thai

General Info

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Itabashi City, Prik Thai feels like one of those hidden gems you stumble upon and instantly want to keep coming back to. The location is easy to reach, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual diner comfort and authentic Thai restaurant charm.

From the moment I stepped in, the menu stood out for its variety without being overwhelming. It’s clear that the focus here is on classic Thai flavors done right. I started with the Spicy Prawn Soup, and it delivered exactly what you’d expect-bold, tangy, and layered with spice. It had that comforting warmth that makes you slow down and enjoy every spoonful.

One of the highlights that really impressed me was the Steamed Chicken with Rice. It sounds simple, but the execution is spot on. The chicken was tender and juicy, paired perfectly with fragrant rice and a light, flavorful sauce. On the other hand, the グリーンカレーとバジル炒めご飯 目玉焼き付 brings a richer, more indulgent experience. The green curry has a creamy depth, while the basil stir-fried rice adds a punch of aroma, topped off with a perfectly cooked fried egg.

If you’re visiting during lunchtime, the トムヤムラーメンのランチセット is worth trying. It’s a clever fusion that blends Thai flavors with a ramen-style presentation, making it both familiar and exciting. Portions are satisfying, and the inclusion of soup in many sets adds great value to the overall dining experience.

Beyond the food, the service setup is thoughtful and convenient. The restaurant offers a wheelchair accessible parking lot, which makes it more inclusive for different visitors. For those who enjoy a relaxed mid-morning meal, brunch options are available, and the small plates make it easy to sample multiple dishes. There’s also coffee on the menu, which pairs nicely if you’re planning to linger a bit longer.

Payment is smooth as well, with Rakuten Pay accepted, which is always a plus for convenience.

Overall, this Thai restaurant delivers a well-rounded experience-from its flavorful dishes to its accessible location and friendly setup. It’s the kind of place that earns solid reviews not just for its menu, but for how comfortably it fits into your day, whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a relaxed brunch.

What customers say?

“ Wonderful Thai food at this small, but friendly restaurant. The spiciness crept up on me, so do be careful if you have a low spice tolerance. Best for a party of two or less, any more, you should make a reservation. Crowd Size: High Serving Speed: Average Payment Method: Cash ”

“ I've ordered from this restaurant many times on UberEats. I have been very impressed with the quantity and quality of food at a great price. I also really appreciate how they add small sweets to my order every time. This restaurant has been the best experience for me on UberEats so far. Great place and absolutely delicious food ”

“ I ordered the Pad Kee Mao which was delicious and authentic. However, for the price of ¥1000 I was expecting a little more volume and veggies. ”

- Tammy O -

“ I regularly go there. I don't know other Thai restaurants as good as this one around Oyama. ”

“ Very nice price for such delicious lunch set. Everyone should try it. ”

- Ziqian Fei -

“ It was empty, probably because it was New Year's. Green curry and basil fried rice lunch...consistently delicious. Great value as you can try two types of food. However, the curry comes poured over the rice, so the rice soaks up the curry quickly. Make sure to eat quickly. Red curry lunch...consistently delicious. Tom yum goong ramen...can be ordered as a single item even at lunchtime. Consistently delicious. Personally, I prefer it a little more sour, though. You can also ask for a condiment set to season to your liking. ”

“ I visited for a weekday lunch, the first time in a while. By 12:50, the restaurant was full with only one table remaining. This time, I ordered the [Gapow Omelette & Green Curry Set] for 1,100 yen (tax included). The gapow omelette on top of rice was absolutely delicious! It also came with soup, a small, just-right-sized portion of green curry, two fresh spring rolls, a drink, and dessert—a very filling meal! And everything was delicious! It was a very satisfying lunch! -------------------------------------------- This is an incredibly delicious Thai restaurant. There were so many different things I wanted to try. Thank you for the meal! ”

“ This Thai restaurant is located near Oyama Station! We visited around 2 PM on a weekday. There was only one other group there, so we were able to get in easily! The reviews were great, so I went with high expectations, and it was delicious as expected!!! I ordered the gapow omelette and green curry set. ¥1,100 It was a regular portion, but it came with a generous pile of rice! The cooks in the kitchen were wearing hats, which shows how strict hygiene practices are in place. ”
